The Piggott School
Assessment of the proposal to
develop a Performing Arts Centre

The Piggott School has a rural location
between the two urban centres of Reading
and Maidenhead. Because of its student
catchment based on these major centres,
other minor and rural settlements, coupled
to the school being a centre of musical
excellence, a performing arts centre was
considered. Possible development
options were assessed in terms of the
existing school fabric and its surrounding
environment.
